  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 green onion (chopped)
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon granulated sugar
  • ½ cup cooked crab meat (drained)
  • 8 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (divided)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, mozzarella, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, granulated sugar, and crab meat. Mix until smooth.
  2. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  4. Place one slice in the skillet, butter-side down. Spread about ¼ cup of the crab mixture on top and cover with another slice of bread, butter-side up.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  6. Repeat with remaining sandwiches and serve warm with dipping sauces if desired.
